The European Freight and Logistics Leaders Forum is an event for business leaders and decision-makers in manufacturing, retail, supply, all modes of logistics, ports technology companies including start-ups, insurance, finance, academics, NGOs, policymakers, politicians and experts, all those actively working in or with the international supply chain and logistics.
At a time of intense pressure and structural change in the sector, 200 business leaders gathered in London around the same table. In a mix of interactive sessions led by senior management teams, it was an important space for people to listen, ask questions, learn about each other’s priorities and engage in tactical and strategic discussions.
The topic of the event agenda was ” Keeping the wheels turning whilst focusing on our value proposition”, working on how to meet the challenge of developing this theme.
Franco Castagnetti (NEWO) participated in working group D, which dealt with the Sustainability of Transport and Logistics. The session was moderated by two external professional consultants who focused on real business cases. Franco intervened several times opening a window on PLANET EGTN and the use cases of the project, including drivers and associated KPIs.
