PLANET Project research results of the work carried out within Living Lab 3 – IoT for Silk Road Route – reliable, transparent and fully connected corridor from China to the EU were presented at the 22nd International Scientific Conference Business Logistics in Modern Management (BLMM2022) organized by Faculty of Economics in Osijek (Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Croatia) between 06th-07th of October 2022.
BLMM Conference started in 2001 as scientific research colloquium organized and hosted by Faculty of Economics in Osijek, Universty of Josip Juraj Strossmayer in Osijek, Croatia, and through years it became recognized as international scientific conference narrowly specialized in logistics, supply chain management and distribution issues of regional and global concern.
The BLMM2022 Conference comprised several presentations and round-table discussions, bringing together scientists and experts engaged in problems of business logistics and supply chain management of goods and services with the purpose of exchange of scientific ideas and professional opinion. PLANET took part at the Session 2 – Sustainability and regional supply chains – Supply chain and logistics digitalization on 6th October 2022. During this session PLANET’s results and work were presented in two separate presentations:
- Marta Walmann and Karolina Kolinska (ILIM-PIT) presented the paper Data digitalisation in transport processes. The full paper is available here.
- Piotr Nowak, Malgorzata Kirchner and Adam Koliński (ILIM-PIT) presented the paper Analysis of digitalisation needs improving the supply chain efficiency for new silk road transport corridor. The full paper is available here.
Both papers and the presentations addressed the research conducted in 2021 and the first half of 2022 – as part of PLANET project – with a conceptual approach, pilot implementation and ultimately a benefits analysis.
